DESCRIPTION:Time: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM\n\nHike with geologist Kim Fendrich t
 o explore the deep connections between art and geology at Storm King. The
  tour will visit several key sculptures and landscapes at Storm King that
  were developed with geologic materials both from the local area and arou
 nd the world. Learn about how the geologic forces of earth shaped Storm K
 ing’s place in the Hudson Valley\, and how artists have come to collabora
 te with the story of these natural elements.\n\nProgram Notes\n\nTickets 
 will be available on October 15 at 10AM\nProgram location: Meet at Outdoo
 r Lobby\nFree with admission\, registration required.\nPlease note this t
 our will be approximately three hours long\, traveling on foot over varie
 d terrain. Dress warmly and bring hiking boots or sneakers\, water\, and

  people with the land and its complex geologic history with the goal of i
 nspiring environmental stewardship. Over the last 10 years\, her classroo
 m space has evolved from the collegiate setting at the University of Ariz
 ona to the American Museum of Natural History\, and finally to the great 
 outdoors. Kim is the Program Manager at Westchester Land Trust with a M.S
 . in geosciences from the University of Arizona.\n\nACCESSIBILITY\nTerrai
 n and Getting Around\nThe tour will take place across varied terrain incl
 uding hills\, wooded areas\, paved paths\, gravel paths\, and mown lawn. 
 Expect to cover 1.5 to 2 miles on the tour.\n\nAccessible Cart Service\nA
 n accessible golf cart may be requested to assist with moving between scu
 lptures during the hike. Service is available on a first come\, first ser
 ved basis. Please make a request in advance by emailing info@stormkingart
 center.org.  The cart can accommodate up to five visitors sitting in seat
 s\; or one wheelchair-using visitor with up to three additional passenger
 s in seats. The weight capacity for the ramp is 650lbs.\n\nRestrooms\nAcc
 essible restroom stalls are located near the entrance.\n\nASL interpretat
 ion for guided tours is available upon request two weeks in advance. Ever
