 Don Sparks is a working character actor with over fifty television and fi
 lm credits and is a highly popular performing songwriter. In 2018 he crea
 ted the role of “JD” in the Broadway musical\, “Jimmy Buffett’s Escape To
  Margaritaville\,” and solos on the Original Cast Album. He also toured w
 ith Jimmy Buffett with the show to New Orleans\, Houston\, and Chicago. I
 n 2025 he was “Twohey\,” a banjo-playing barfly in the NBC series\, “Long
  Bright River\,” and was “Iceman Jim” in the movie\, “My Own Love Song\,”
  where he sings a Dylan tune for Renee Zellweger’s character.\n\ndonspark
